Sai serves as the Principal Investigator of this project. He specializes in Informative Learning and Inference for stochastic processes, applying to the Earth & Planets. Natural Hazards and Climate are key application areas for the methods developed in his group, in particular, flood prediction, uncertainty quantification, risk estimation, and decision problems in a changing climate.
